Compensation: This is an unpaid position | Part-Time
The intern will attend recruitment and retention-related planning meetings and events to promote Bergen's Promise mission and vision to attract best-fit applicants for open positions and retain current staff, respectively.
This internship experience is available for junior and senior students pursuing the a major in Human Resources or Business Administration.
The intern will…
1. Assist with the screening of resumes and application forms to identify prospective employees to fill company job vacancies.
2. Assist in the organization and promotion of retention/engagement activities/events for staff
3. Compose letters and other documents related to Human Resource tasks and activities.
4. Assist in the maintenance of personnel files, track progress.
5. Collaborate with Community Resources, Data Analytics and Training and Engagement specialist to identify outcomes and evaluate trends related to effective recruitment, onboarding and/or retention.
Intern will demonstrate professionalism and good human relations skills with supervisor, co-workers while completing aforementioned responsibilities.
Intern will learn and abide by company and state Employer Human Resource and HIPAA policies and regulations while completing aforementioned responsibilities.
Intern will demonstrate specific ways in which the internship activities deepen their understanding of the knowledge and skills gained through traditional course work.
