Internship - Quality Assurance & Data Analytics

Location: Hackensack
Compensation: This is an unpaid position | Part-Time

Overview:

The intern will be an effective member of the Quality Assurance Team by conducting analytical studies, reviewing agency data, assisting in database administration, and creating reports for senior agency leadership. Using their unique abilities and talents, the aforementioned tasks will be completed with the goal of improving agency policy and procedure so that we can better serve the youth of our community.

A basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word, SQL programming language, knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities:

The intern will…

Learn the processes and techniques used when assisting at risk youth to best understand the needs of the youth and the agency. The intern will then be given, and be asked to create, tools that are able to find vulnerabilities within agency methods and subsequently provide improvement recommendations to agency leadership.

Conduct analytical studies, with help from the Data Analytics Manager and Data Specialist, and present the findings of said study to organization stakeholders.

Review vast amounts of data for analysis while simultaneously noting and correcting data integrity issues.

Review data and work with the Data Team to develop a report/display of real-time QA call data (in collaboration with CVS and Data Analytics Specialist)

Provide technical support to families served in our internal Electronic Health Record System, PlanStreet, and obtain missing enrollment-related information as needed. [in collaboration with Operations Assistants]

Qualifications & Skills:

Students will understand nonprofit Care Management Quality Assurance

Intern will effectively assess needs, analyze data, problem solve and articulate their findings to organization stakeholders.

Interns will be able to effectively describe Quality Assurance contributions to the organization revenue cycle.
