Part-Time Temporary Behavioral Health Home Administrative Assistant

Location: Hackensack, NJ
Compensation: TBD | Part-Time

Overview:

This is a part-time temporary position. The assignment will be from 6 to 9 months working up to 20 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support in completing Behavioral Health Home’s functions, including, but not limited to:

  • Documentation
  • Report Production
  • Maintenance of Records
  • Scheduling
  • Review records for BHH services eligibility
  • Maintain pending eligibility spreadsheet
  • Collaborate with medical providers
  • Document communication with providers
  • Send electronic faxes
  • Schedule assessments through phone calls
  • Communicate integrated care eligibility with care management
  • Aid with BHH projects, as necessary
  • Understand and ensure that tasks are conducted and material is handled in a sensitive and confidential manner in compliance with HIPAA and Agency policies
  • Attend all required meetings and trainings
  • Comply with all Agency policies and procedures
  • Perform all other tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree: Associates Degree preferred
  • Two to three years of experience in a comparable area in lieu of education
  • Fluency in applicable office technology and software; experience is multimedia communications a plus
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
