After a two year hiatus, Bergen’s Promise hosted it’s Employee Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday, 10/13/2022, and it was a huge success. About 20 different vendors that encompass the eight dimensions of wellness had tables at our office in Hackensack. Vendors were given the opportunity to distribute information and resources related to integrated health & wellness that was tailored to the experiences and work that our valued employee’s conduct.
Bergen’s Promise has emphasized the effort to increase work productivity by implementing initiatives that address staff burnout; arranging stress and trauma workshops; and elevating fatigue with appreciation. The agency’s most recent efforts to revise our values includes the importance of building a culture of wellness. The Employee Health and Wellness Fair this year focused on increased staff health, which in return increases workplace success.
