The American Public Health Association 2024 Annual Meeting and Expo was hosted in Minneapolis, MN on October 27-30. The annual APHA meeting is the largest public health gathering of the year.

Bergen's Promise's Health Promotion Manager, Amy Faus, represented the agency at this years meeting. Amy presented during an oral session on October 29th hosted by APHA's Mental Health Section. The session, entitled "Families and Children across the Lifespan: Examining the Mental Health of Youth" highlighted programs and strategies that support youth mental health. Amy spoke about Bergen's Promise integrated care programming, sharing best practices and program evaluation outcomes.
Amy also had the opportunity to moderate 3 oral sessions during the meeting that closely align with Bergen's Promise mission: "Enhancing Health Literacy in Communication and Education, "Families and Children across the Lifespan: Cultivating Connectedness," and "Understanding the Mental Health Status of Children and Adolescents in the United States and Examining Multilevel and School-Based Program Solutions."
