During the late part of March, the Behavioral Health Home & Community Resources Teams collaborated to set up a Humanitarian Aid Donation collection. This was an opportunity for Bergen's Promise employees to donate needed items for the people of Ukraine in the wake of the Russian invasion. We were able to collect several needed items listed from the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in Clifton, NJ.
Those items included, hygiene products for all ages, pain relief medication, nutritional supplement drinks, first aid items and infant formula. These items were then dropped off at the Church in Clifton and will be sent to Poland to be distributed to cities in Ukraine. If you would like to contribute supplies to the Ukraine, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine is still accepting donations.
