Bergen’s Promise was able to add a little extra holiday joy to our youth and families this year. Through the support of donors throughout the community, we were able to ensure over 200 children had gifts this holiday season. We are always pleased to fulfill 100% of toy tags that are submitted.
Additionally, we hosted our 5th Annual Family Holiday Party for families to celebrate a little holiday cheer. Families wooed and wondered with a magic show from Magician Mike Zig. They then enjoyed some holiday music and coloring before an appearance by Santa Claus to distribute gifts (thanks to Chris Cartwright from SG Companies who has a connection to the North Pole). They also received goodie bags courtesy of Church of Jesus. And finally, families stopped by the “CaptureThis…Photobooth” run by our very own Stephanie DeJesus.
We were very happy to host a more conventional family party once again. However, safety was a concern as well so all Covid protocols such as temperature checks, masks, capacity limits, and social distancing were observed as well.
