Bergen’s Promise COO, Shelisa Foster, MA, LPC, NCC was recently honored with a Certificate of Commendation from James Tedesco, Bergen County Executive, in recognition of her leadership and service as Vice Chairwoman of the Bergen County Human Services Advisory Council.
The Council plays an important role in advising Bergen County on human services priorities, helping to assess community needs, identify service gaps, and support initiatives that strengthen access to behavioral health, housing, social services, services for older adults, and other critical community resources. Through collaboration among public agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders, the Council helps ensure that local human services remain responsive to the evolving needs of Bergen County residents of all ages.
