This fall, Bergen’s Promise was awarded a grant issued by the Bergen County Division of Mental Health & Addiction Services for the provision of evidence-based Behavioral Health COVID-19 related services. The agency is using the funding to expand availability of its integrated care services currently provided by it’s behavioral health home program (BHH). Youth with certain challenges related to the stresses of the COVID-19 pandemic who have previously been ineligible for BHH services, will have to opportunity to receive 12 individualized health education sessions focused on healthy lifestyles for overall physical and mental well-being. The funding awarded through the grant will allow Bergen’s Promise to provide these services to an additional 100 youth over the next year through a project entitled ‘A Model of Hope through Integrated Healthcare’.
