On May 4th, Bergen's Promise was the recipient of a generous $3,000 donation from the River Edge Dunkin in conjunction with the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation. This donation was to commemorate the grand opening of their new store in River Edge. Our CEO (Dean Pastras), Director of Health Services (Jan Schlaier), and Director of Community Resources (Kathryn Werheim) were on hand for a ceremonial ribbon-cutting and check presentation. River Edge Mayor Thomas Papaleo and the River Edge Police Department were on hand for the presentation as well.
“We are excited to unveil our new restaurant design to River Edge residents and the surrounding community,” said Dunkin’ franchisee Ramila Patel. “Additionally, we are proud to support Bergen’s Promise with this $3,000 donation in partnership with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, and to underscore the importance of an organization that provides care that often goes unseen.”
We are incredibly grateful for this generosity! Having the support of community partners like Dunkin helps create better success for our youth. These types of donations help to fill in service gaps for our youth and properly fulfil the needs that family have, alleviating financial stressors.
