Bergen’s Promise held another success year of our Annual Toy Drive and Family Holiday Party. On Wednesday December 14th, Bergen’s Promise held our Family Holiday Party. A shoutout goes to Fairleigh Dickinson University and the Lady Knights Women’s Basketball Team who let us use their facility to host the event. In addition, the Lady Knights were on hand to volunteer with the kids.
The children had a variety of activities during the party which included arts & crafts, a magic show (Mike Zig!), and a special appearance from Santa giving out gifts! The joy and excitement of the kid’s faces was heartwarming.
Through the generosity of our donors, we were able to host this party as well as fulfill the gift requests of over 260 youth in need. This made a world of difference in brightening the holidays for the youth we serve. We are extremely grateful to our donors which include:
