On Tuesday, August 20th, Bergen's Promise hosted our inaugural Back-to-School Family Wellness Night for our Bergen's Promise youth and families. Planned by our Youth and Family Wellness Workgroup, the event featured a Backpack and School Supply Distribution alongside music, crafts, activities, and community wellness resources. Nearly 300 attendees joined us in celebrating and building community as we get ready for the Back-To-School season.
We would like to thank our community partners who joined us for the event: Hackensack Police Department, Hackensack Fire Department, Hackensack Meridian Health Community Outreach, BCCLS Teaneck Library, The Shirvan Family Live Well Center, children's author Melissa Morell, the Center for Food Action, and the Family Support Organization of Bergen County.
