On June 30th, Bergen's Promise exhibited at a community event "Unity in the Community: Law Enforcement, Mental Health Services and YOU Working Together" atOverpeck County Park.This was a day to celebrate the Crisis Intervention Teamas well asthe community with music, food, family activities and more! Bergen CountyCIT has trained more than 300 law enforcement officers, first responders and mental health professionals!
Members of our Bergen's Promise staff in attendance included Jan Schlaier (Director of Health Services) as well as John Dixon and Elizabeth Panissidi (Care Manage Supervisors). We had a great time participating in this event and educating the community about Bergen's Promise.
